Some public toilets in Norway

Both in 2015 and 2018, DesignCurial have put a Norwegian public toilet on top of their list og the World’s best public toilets. Both toilets are built on two different scenic roads in Norway: One on the fjords on the west-coast, and the other in northern Norway.

2015: Stegastein public toilet

Stegastein public toilet is a public toilet close to the viewpoint Stegastein. It is easily accessible by car, and has a magnificent view of the fjord and mountains.

Norway has used 15 million kroner (about US$ 2 000 000) to make this roadstop a beautiful one. That includes a architect-designed public toilet.
